A message to our customers (Covid-19)

The Café @ The Hub is now open to customers for both dine-in and takeaway! Pop in for some delicious hot food and drinks between 9am-4pm Monday to Friday and between 9am-2pm on Saturdays. To ensure we keep our customers and colleagues safe, we made a few changes to the way we operate – click here to find out what has changed.

Classes and room hire services have also re-opened, in line with Government guidelines. Please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.

Meet the team

  • Lizzie Irvine

    Centre Manager

    Lizzie is the Centre Manager for The Hub. She's responsible for leading and delivering this fantastic community facility and ensuring it is sustainable for the community. Lizzie previously worked for the University of Bath and managed their city buildings. She has an extensive background in customer service and hospitality. Born and living in Bath, as a Mum of two young children, Lizzie is passionate about the local community and that The Hub is a beacon for them. Lizzie joined The Hub in September 2018.

  • Richard Priest

    Facilities Manager

    Richard is our Facilities Manager. He's responsible for the health and safety of the building and its users. Richard worked at Centre Parcs for seven years in various facilities departments. Richard is an active member of Trowbridge Sea Cadets, where he has been Commanding Officer for the last nine years. He also enjoys football and Formula 1. Richard joined The Hub at the end of August 2018, before it opened in November 2018.

  • Maria Grigoriadi

    Chef/Café Manager

    Maria is the Chef/Café Manager for Café @ The Hub and is responsible for back and front of house operations for the café and event catering. Maria lives locally and has a wealth of experience. For as long as Maria can remember she has always been sat at a table with nice food and drinks, with lovely people. Food is her passion, along with customer service and engaging with people. Maria joined Café @ The Hub in April 2019.

  • Ashley Brunn

    Senior Events Coordinator

    Ashley is our Senior Events Coordinator. His role is to engage with community and grow The Hub. Ashley has a wide knowledge and understanding of the hospitality trade and enjoys community interaction and events planning. Ashley joined The Hub in September 2018.

  • Gemma Billett

    Event Coordinator

    Gemma is one of our Events and Reception Coordinators and works part time to engage with the local community and establish The Hub. Gemma is a Mum to a little boy and has lived locally all of her life. She has worked in customer service for a number of years and enjoys meeting all the visitors to The Hub. Gemma joined The Hub in September 2018, before it opened in November 2018.

  • Susan Morgan

    Café Assistant

    Sue is one of our full time Café Assistants. Sue has always worked in catering and has lived in Fox Hill for 30 years. Sue really enjoys working in the kitchen but you'll often find her out the front, chatting to customers too. Sue joined Café @ The Hub in December 2018.

  • Evette Pike

    Café Assistant

    Eve is one of our part time Café Assistants. Eve loves working on the counter and really enjoys chatting to all of our customers. Eve lives locally and is a Mum of two. Eve joined the Café @ The Hub in March 2019

  • Cherie Newland

    Café Assistant

    Cherie is one of our Café Assistants and works on a casual basis as part of the Café @ The Hub team. Cherie helps cover our busy periods and during holidays. Cherie lives in Fox Hill and works front of house. She enjoys talking to all of our different customers. Cherie joined Café @ The Hub in February 2019.

  • Jan Hosaka

    Sales Coordinator

    Jan is our Sales Coordinator. She works full time and sells the spaces at The Hub. Jan's particular focus is corporate events, such as conferences, away days and training events. Jan is experienced in negotiation, customer service and account management within the sales industry. Jan joined The Hub in October 2019 and has lived in Bath most of her life.
